Abbotsford Chalet

Our eight rooms have been thoughtfully designed to provide intimate places for people to listen to God.  The chalet can accommodate individuals, couples and groups up to 26 people. 

Check in is 4pm and check out is 12pm

Extravagance and Abundance

These luxurious two-level suites both feature attic bedrooms complete with queen size sleigh beds, night stands, dressers, closets and elegant full bathrooms. 

Abundance is well suited for families, furnished with a family style Brazilian table and 6 chairs, leather sofa bed and equipped with a full kitchen.  Faith, a single suite next door, can accommodate children.

Extravagance’s antiqued kitchen cabinets, cherry dining table, plush leather sofa and reclaimed hardwood floors make this room an extravagant getaway.   

Two night minimum stay for both Extravagance and Abundance is required.

Solitude

This one-level suite designed for solitude features crown mouldings, bleached oak floors and a beautifully tiled shower.  It is graced with cherry wood furnishings; a queen size bed, armoire, table and chairs for two and a cozy armchair.  The mini kitchen including a microwave and bar fridge, along with a half bath, enable this room to be an intimate escape.

Peace, Presence, Faith, Expectancy and Comfort

These basic yet comfortable rooms have 2 single beds that can become a king size bed and a bunk set complete with plush duvets.  A small walk-in closet allows you to unpack and feel at home.  These versatile suites are suitable for couples, families or shared accommodation.

Pender Island Home

This 8 bedroom home comfortably sleeps 16 people and provides an ideal getaway location for individuals, families or groups to celebrate life and enjoy the beauty of creation. Rooms can be rented by the day or week - either in total or on a room only basis. There is an upper level loft and a main floor meeting room and dining area with patio doors that open to a large deck with a panoramic view of the ocean and island mountains. The lower level meeting room has a billiard table and opens to a large covered deck with hammocks and swings, a gas barbeque and ocean view. The home is air-conditioned.



All bedrooms have handmade beds with homemade quilts, a nightstand, closet and a spectacular ocean view. The two rooms on the main floor have queen beds with private bathrooms. Of the six bedrooms located on the lower level two have queen beds and four have two twin beds. There are two complete bathrooms shared by the six bedrooms. Bed linens are provided. Please bring your own toiletries and towels.

A large fully-equipped kitchen is available for guests to prepare their own meals. There is an option of prepared meals by special request only, and for MARK Centre hosted retreats.

Enjoy your meal watching the BC ferry passage or possibly even a pod of Orca whales cruising by. Orca whales have been sighted from April through September with high season in June. The island has a whale watch to inform residents of sightings. Guests are welcome to explore the private peninsula of 2+ acres of woodland bounded on three sides by the sea. On one side stairs lead to a dock with 2 canoes available to guests at no charge and on the other side, stairs lead to a fire pit, swing and bench and small beach area.

The home is privately situated. If guests wish to explore the island to visit shops, the disc park or other places of interest, they are encouraged to come with their own vehicle or bicycle. Walk on passengers arriving by ferry can request rides to and from the ferry. These are $5 return per person payable in cash at time of pick up.
