Visio Divina: Listening to God through Scripture and Art (Feb. 4, 11, 25 & March 4)

Each week in this series, we will contemplatively engage a Biblical passage and a corresponding piece of art. Adding the visual element to our meditation on Scripture can help us as we listen for what God wants to say to us. We want to reflect deeply on scripture and by beautiful works of European art by Vermeer, Rembrandt, Caravaggio and Millet.

When: February 4, 11, 25 & March 4
Cost: $15 per evening or $50 for all 4 sessions
Our time together will begin at 7pm each evening, and be facilitated by Brenda Nickerson, Mark Centre host. Brenda became interested in reflecting on religious art devotionally while serving as a missionary in Central Europe, having had the opportunity to lead art/worship experiences for women in ministry in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, and the Vatican Museum in Rome.
