More than just a peaceful place or a gathering of people interested in spiritual activities, the MARK Centre is about a community of people that are journeying together and encouraging one another to practice a lifestyle of listening to God. The following leaders and staff members play an integral role in the day-to-day functioning of the MARK Centre.

Steve Klassen

Executive Director
Steve Klassen together with his wife Evy have given leadership to the MARK Centre from its inception. They believe that God speaks to people today in a variety of ways, and have written a collection of their stories in Your Ears Will Hear. They both love to guide people in listening experiences and facilitate short retreats. Steve is a trained Spiritual Director and meets with individuals for monthly sessions. He also speaks publicly, dramatizing stories from Mark that highlight God’s personal love for people.
Sam Wieler

Director of Operations
Sam recently joined our team as the director of operations. Sam loves how Jesus came to reunite us with God, and is passionate about helping people experience the fruitful, life-satisfying implications of this - a constant, conversational relationship with the One who loves us. When he’s not at the MARK Centre, Sam likes to spend time with his wife Laura, read, play musical instruments, and enjoy nature.
Brian & Alivia

On-Site Hosts
Brian and Alivia live on-site at the MARK Centre, caring for the space and available to help should our guests have any needs.
